Travel Tips At this time of year and until at least September, the weather in places like Juneau and Anchorage will be between 60 and 70 during the day and a few degrees cooler overnight. You do not need heavy winter clothing, but one good jacket and a few sweaters will suffice. If you're going to Barrow, that's another story. Others lots of good quality jackets/coats. go to specialty stores where they sell that kind of stuff b/c you really can't go cheap on stuff like this. and nice durable boots too. the weather is wicked cold there lots of jackets,those are thick one..and lots of foods..but don't forget to bring your ticket so u can go there..hehehehe A Block Maker.
