Fort Myers, Florida?

My family is going to Fort Myers, Florida in July and I have a few questions.

What kind of things are there to to there? Such as amusement parks or other attractions.

What kind of things should I pack? Like what things come in handy that you usually forget or what things you brought that you ended up never using.

If you have anything else you think might be helpful feel free to include it.

I don't think my parents want to go to Orlando or Keys or anything. So whatever it is, it should be in the Fort Myers area.
