Travel Info 路If you were going on a camping trip for a week, what 10 things would you bring? Explain why.? Travel Tips I just returned from a great camping/fishing trip in northern Maine. Here is my list; 1. Fire...Bic lighters, waterproof matches in waterproof container and some lint from your dryer would be good, too. 2. Fresh drinking water...As much as you can bring. If your hiking more than a mile and have to carry, buy a very good filtration device, but still bring as much good water as you can. 3. Extra clothes....something warm with long sleeves 4. First aid kit....not just band aids with Scooby Doo 5. Camera...worth it's wait in gold 6. Toothbrush and your favorite paste....don't leave home with out it 7. As much food as you can bring.....steaks, pork loins, chicken, potatoes, ribs, Marshmallows & chockolate & grahm crackers, munchies, munchies, munchies 8. Tent..... which includes sleeping bag, sleeping pad or mattress and lantern or flashlight. (make that 2 flashlights w/ lots of batteries) 9. Rope.....rope, rope.....good cheap rope and ratcheting straps would be good here, too. 10. Axe....or hatchet or chain saw......Whichever gets your blood pumping Source(s): personal experience Other Travel Tips mobile just in case water purification tablets food rations wet wipes in case you cant shower camera obvious reasons fish hooks and line coz i love fish and there is always a river or sea hand washing powder/liquid ipod and spare batteries mossie repellant gas cooker and spare cannisters brad pitt I would go for 10 Hotel vouchers and let the remaining campers do their own thing. Tent Sleeping bag Roll mat Camping stove Rucksack Cutlery Torch matches/lighter Pan Food Tin opener Toilet roll beer beer beer beer beer beer beer beer beer!!!! and a bottle opener!! One thing i would bring is wet gear.It always seems to rain when you put up a tent...also bring a credit card so that you can book into a hotel if you have any snags with the tent.A good light,comfortable sleeping bag.You know this sound more like a "survival list"...enjoy your camping. |
