In the U.K do you still have to put yor hand luggage in clear bags?? |
Travel Info also was going to take my c.d player for the hotel room, can you take this had hand luggage ?? Travel Tips Most hand luggage is fine but liquids have to be put in clear bags. You may be asked to prove the CD player works and is actually a CD player. That happened to me with my laptop earlier this year. Make sure you know size limitations before you try a take your CD player though. BAA operate the major London airports. the link is from their Heathrow site and gives details of what you should and shouldn't have according to UK laws. Source(s): http://www.heathrowairport.com/portal/co... Other Travel Tips No you don't and yes you can. I heard you only have to put things in clear bags if it is liquid ie mascara. You only have to put anything that is liquid based in a clear bag, and yes you can take your cd player You only have to put liquid based items such as makeup/hand cream/water into clear bags. Only liquids, gels, pastes etc have to go in the clear plastic bag. Yes you can carry your CD player too but have it ready to be seperately scanned at security.
