Help!!! do you need a passport to travel to the bahamas? |
Travel Info i saw other posts about this but i've been hearing conflicting things. my aunt said she heard you don't need one till the end of the summer and someone else said 2008. i am traveling at the end of august and if i need one i think its going to be too late now!! help!! Your airline also should have the answer. yes, you need a passport especially if you are traveling from the U.S.A. it usually take a couple of months for processing once you apply, however you can pay an extra fee to receive it within a month. to speed up the process, get your passport photos taken first and fill out the application before you turn in your forms. you can go to your local post office for forms. arrive early in the day when you go to turn in your application. sometimes it can take 20 mins to 3 hrs! good luck! i had to get my passport to go to jamaica earlier this year. |
