Do Americans need a visa to go to Finland? |

Go to the website below and scroll down the alphabetical list of countries to Finland. United States citizens do not need visas for visits of up to 90 days in Finland. Not at all, unless you're going for more than 90 days. I've been there many many times and as long as you have a valid passport, you're all set to go. It's likely that you'll change planes in London or Stockholm before continuing on to Helsinki, and you'll present your passport THERE, rather than in Helsinki (read up on the Shengen Treaty).
