What do you girls out there typically pack for a week vacation? |
Travel Info I am going to the Jersey shore for the week. I have been there many times and live in PA so the climate is the same. However, I ALWAYS overpack. What and how many items do you normally pack? Thanks! We do have access to a washer/dryer. Travel Tips A few things that you must pack irrespective of the number of days are - Toileteries - Undergarments - Socks pertaining to weather - Wet tissues/sanitizer For 7 days with access to washer/dryer - Take 4 tops and 2 bottoms. If you are carrying jeans you can wear them for 2 days without washing too. - Sneakers and 1 more pair of sandals or shoes Carry anything special like swimsuit or hat. Others same here, i live in PA too, i over pack all the time. shorts, capri's, bathing suits, tank tops, sandals, underwear for however many nights you will be staying, I normally take 7 outfits for 7 days but if you have washer/dryer you don't need that many. NJ nights may be breezy, take light jacket or sweater and most importantly HAVE FUN!! you usually pack your whole closet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIFE!!!!!!!!! i just finished packing 2night! i have the same problem! i Had to sit on my suitcase just to close it! lol I am going on a trip for 10 days. Here is my packing list: toiletries: 1) travel toothbrush 2) travel toothpaste 3) travel floss 4) travel hand lotion 5) face lotion with spf 30 6) body lotion with spf 30 7) small shampoo 8) hair gel 9) comb 10) eye shadow 11) eye liner 12) eye concealer 13) blush 14) lip gloss 15) travel soap 16) travel woolite (enough for 3 washes) 17) travel deodorant 18) 2 disposable razors 19) travel shave gel 20) tweezer 21) cuticle clipper 22) nail file 23) nail cliper 25) wash cloth accessories: 1) purse 2) lightweight hat 3) small umbrella? 4) small calculator 5) book with useful phrases 6) misc. travel book 7) fictional book 8) headphones, extra batteries, portable cd player 9) digital camera, extra batteries, extra memory 10) notebook, pen 11) ear plugs 12) eye mask 13) sunglasses 14) binoculars clothing: 1) 1pair blk pants 2) 2-tshirts 3) 2-tank tops 4) 3-pairs shorts 5) tennis shoes 6) 1 bar outfit 7) 4 pair panties 8) 3 bras 9) 3 pair sox 10) sandals 11) sweater medicine: 1) tums 2) tylenol 3) vitamins (11) 4) small hydrocortozone cream tube 5) bag of zinc tablets I have a medical condition so, I try to be extra-prepared. |
