What should i pack?!!? |
Travel Info im going on a beach vacation for 10 days. what should i bring... and how many things should i bring of each? what should my bf bring? Travel Tips How light are you trying to pack? Bring enough clothes for 15 days, if you aren't going to have a washing machine easily accesible and have the room for it. Chances are, with all the swimming you'll want to put on new clothes as opposed to wet, sanded ones. Then the obvious ones.. toiletries (shampoo, conditioner-you and your party can share to save space, hair brush/comb, deodorant, shaving stuff, toothbrush, mae-up..., etc), sun block (or tanning lotion, if that's your thing), sandals, towels, any beach games/activities you might have, a change of contact lenses (if necessary), some medication just in case (advil, motrin, etc), camera, sunglasses, pack of cards, maps of the area, money, credit, and identification Bring snacks too... swimming and sun always makes you hungry! To save space with clothes if you need to, make sure to pack very compressed. Roll, rather than fold, vacation garments. It saves packing space and also can cut down on wrinkles.Pack extra ziploc bags for dirty clothes. If you have one of those compressors to fit lots of clothes tighly into a bag, that'll work great. If you're planning on bringing any big beach equipment like inner tubes, have 'em Fed Exed if you arent taking a car. Others Ever heard of Ann McAlpin. She writes a book on packing. She advise you on what to pack and how to pack it. You can find the book at any local bookstore. It usually runs about $10usd. Also if you live next to a AAA office many of them offer packing classes or have a travel store with someone there to give you advice on packing. However for a beach vacation you basicly need sunblock, good hat, bathingsuit, cover up, flip flops, trashy novel and a towel. Have a good trip. Former travel agent Um OK they have spacemaker bags at target you could get come of those fold like all your shirts in one of the bags and take the little sucker thing and suck the air out so it is PERFECTLY flat and then put your pants in another spacemaker bag and suck the air out of that one so it is PERFECTLY flat and put that in the suit case and then on and on .... then put your shoes and bras and panties just in the suitcase not in a bag and put all the other junk in the bag to and you are ready!! Here are the space maker bags .... http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref... |
