Will they let me board the plane if i have gel/lotion products in my purse? |
Travel Info i'm taking the philippines airlines. i heard that if people have gel/lotion products in their hand-carry bags they won't be able to board the plane. is that true? Travel Tips If you board a flight in Canada you can take gels, lotions, and aerosols as long as "the items are packaged in containers with a capacity of 100 ml / 100 grams (3.4 oz) or less, and that the containers fit comfortably in one clear, closed and resealable plastic bag with a capacity of no more than 1 litre (1 quart)." The US has similar restrictions, except their maximum size is 3.0 oz. Source(s): http://www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca/english/... Other Travel Tips you need to put your products in a smallish ziplock bag, and i suggest not carrying anything you don't need, just travel sizes of toothpaste and lotion and one lipstick shouldn't give you any trouble. check the TSA or airline site for info. been there, done that If you're flying from the US and you have lotions or gels in your purse you will still be allowed to board the aircraft - however you may not be allowed to take your gels or lotions with you.
