Going to Jamacia this month and need to know when going on the plane what I can bring? |

Travel Tips You can definitely pack 'normal' liquids of any size in your checked luggage. You may want to pack these items in plastic ziploc bags just to make sure the contents do not leak onto your clothing if they accidentally open while in transit. Other Travel Tips I have added the website for the TSA, the airline governing body. There are two pages, one is what you can bring and one is what is prohibited. You should review both pages. The rule is usually 3 ounces of liquids, and anything in liquid or aerosol must be in a clear plastic bag (put all items in one bag). This bag is scanned in separately. Put stuff in a clear plastic baggie before you even get to the airport. If you have more than 3 ounces, you will have the item confiscated. Drinks are not allowed to be brought in through security, you can buy them once you get through security though. Just remember also that you have to take your shoes off and if you have a jacket or sweatshirt, that must come off too. Don't wait until the last minute to have all your change, keys, cell phone, belt, etc. out of your pocket. When you walk through the detector it should just be you and the clothes, nothing else.
