What is a good 2 person backpacking tent? |
Travel Info i want a nice light tent for backpacking through central america. 2 person so it can fit me and my backpack. do you recommend any specific brands or specific tents that you have used?? i have a kelty pack, and that has served me well. Travel Tips i use a kelty crestone 1 as a solo tent... i think a crestone 2 will do the job fine... considering the weather in central america is somewhat the same here in the philippines. HTH Others You could always use two tarps with some twine. One for the ground and one over your head. You can find sticks or poles as you go so you won't have to carry them. I would recommend a sleeping pad. The foam kind won't deflate and is light, but bulky. |
