Travel Info Travel ling to a cold country like Canada, what should i pack in to my luggage? Travel Tips That depends both on where you're travelling in Canada, and when. Vancouver and Victoria Island are much like Seattle ... rarely reach freezing, but rainy and can have wind. Places like Ontario are a lot like Chicago in the winter ... wind, snow, quite biting. Further north, the conditions get nippier. But, if you're travelling in summer, even the far north areas can be beautiful ... just pack LOTS OF BUG-OFF. Mosquitos are horrible in the northern areas, like nothing you've seen before. Get a guidebook and check out seasonal averages for the areas you'll be visiting (precipitation, day and nightime temps, windchill, etc.) That will give you a pretty good idea! Good luck! Others Depends what time of year you come here, and which part of canada you come to. layer your clothes on the winter and bring a parka. summer is the same here as it is everywhere. 30c to 45c with the humidex. which is about 85f to 115f are you travelling soon? cause right now its like 30 degrees with the humidex in alot of places. other places...ie the major cities, the temperatures are pretty high with sunny weather and favourable conditions shorts, t- shirt, suntan lotion, bug spray and bikini a shaver and a box of tampons in case you cut yourself shaving |
