Roadtrip to NH?

i just graduated from high school and i'm off to college in the fall (september) instead of flying to my school in hanover, NH, my parents are thinking of driving me to the school...( i guess they want to know more about my school and see what it will be like for me)
i live in phoenix, arizona, and i was wondering how many days it would take to get to NH...i think we are taking the truck...( it would be a one-way trip, not a round-trip for me, i guess)

mapquest says about 40 hours, so so if you drive 12 hours a day, it's gonna take 3 full days, and then one day with 4 hours left
(this is assuming you don't get lost or hit traffic and it takes exactly 40 hours)

First tip - don't move to NH unless you have to. You couldn't pay me enough to go back to that hellhole.
