Can you bring alcohol from Europe to the U.S? |
Travel Info if its legal to buy alcohol and drink in Europe when your 18 but its not in the U.S and im 18 can I ship it from Europe to the U.S or bring it on the plane. How could I get this to work out Travel Tips went on a school trip to germany. [two years ago] we were all 16. some of us hid it large amounts of it in other bottles..i.e. water bottles lemonade bottles and the checked it. others [like me] just went for it.. we put the bottles in ziplock bags and wrapped clothes around it.. then checked our bags. we brought everything from beer to wine to vodka home. ... in large quantities. ha. had no problem one girls bag was even searched [in germany] and they didnt seem to care. good luck. :] the lengths we go to to aquire alcohol as minors ha. Source(s): experience Other Travel Tips Im sure you can i think it depends what kind of alcohol because absenth is illegal in some countries. i would ship it if i were you that way you dont have to worrie about watching your alcohol get thrown away by some security gaurd. Ive been to europe many times and brought alcohol back. But i live in canada, so it could be different |
