Ive plan to go backpack for about 10days around S.E.A. but i dunno how to start planning!!! can someone help??

as for me im a very simple.. food, i can live w eating bread, accomodation, i can even sleep on the pathway.. this is my 1st time going back pack, so i dont really know how to....
1) must go destination :Thailand..
2) how much do i need
3) how do i plan the route
4) i want to visit alot of place

Travel Tips
start from kolkata airport..fly indian airfare 8400 inr including all taxes reach bangkok take local bus to pattaya from suvarnabhumi new bus station bus cost 107 baht...stay at swasdee pattaya inn near 2nd road cost 430 baht ac room with breakfast...next day have pattaya sideseen and have lunch at big c food court...if u want the next 2 day plan
