How much should i bring?

im going on a two week vacation. one week in tuscon, arizona and the other in la quinta, california.
we rented houses in both places with washer && driers.
how much do i need of everything, clothing wise? like tank tops, t-shirts, shorts and such if we have the ability to wash our clothing?

Maybe seven tops, and four bottoms? That way you can mix and match and not have to wear the same thing every day, but that much shouldn't take up too much room in your suitcase.

i would say maybe 14 of everything or 9-10 of everything

Whenever I pack (and I travel A LOT), I find that I need only about half of what I bring.
Try packing for a week's stay, then see what you can eliminate from that.

I've gone in two backpacking trips and if you don't want to carry too much stuff around i suggest you bring:

- 1 pair of jeans
- 1 beige shorts
- a couple of regular tanks tops
- 2 shirts
- 1 light sweater
- 1 pair of sneakers

If you are going out at nights:
- 1 black light pants that is nice enough to use with a nice tank.
or
- 1 or 2 simple summer dresses
- cute black flat sandals
Oh, i live near those places, and ill tell u that, it gets really hott, so bring light clothes, it wil get really hott...and plus youll be doing some shopping so youll be buying some clothes during your vacation....
