What shoulf i pack for a 16 day coach tour of the eastern US and Canada next week? |
Travel Info Jeans needed? Travel Tips The USA and Canada are quite informal. Jeans will be fine. Pack one set of "dress" clothing (for nice restaurants, etc.) unless you are certain you won't need it. Check the weather, but most of the eastern USA will be quite warm in July. Canada MAY be cool enough to require a sweater or two. Again, check the weather: http://weather.yahoo.com/ You don't need 16 changes of clothing for a 16 day trip - just be presentable. Try to choose classics, and items that you can mix and match. Have at least one set of "nicer" clothing even if you don't take "dress" clothing. If you don't have easy access to laundry facilities, underclothes can be washed in the bathroom sink. You can also wash shirts & trousers in the bathroom sink - there will be a laundry somewhere if you don't want to do that. Shampoo takes out grease stains and a little conditioner (or "conditioning shampoo") reduces wrinkles. Others Jeans are always good, don't forget some shorts too. light clothes. It's hot out there ! Shorts, short sleeved shirts, suntan lotion/sunscreen. Hat and sunglasses. Lots of Beer! Just kidding. Me. |
