Travel Tips
You might not need a passport. Where are you travelling from, and what's your nationality?

------- updated after you added details

If you're a US citizen with picture ID, you do not need a passport to travel within the USA. Many states' Motor Vehicle departments can issue picture IDs that are suitable as "government-issued photo identification" which can be used to board flights within the USA--if you do not have a driver license. Also, phone your airline, because they might even accept something like a student ID.

What country are you from? If you're from the U.S., no, you don't need a passport. If you're from any other country, yes, you need a passport.
No, you shouldn't have a problem and you only need a passport when traveling outside of the U.S.
No, not yet.
A passport is the #1 identification to have on hand. I would get one anyway-but be prepared to wait a while.
Where are flying from? If you're staying inside the country than you won't need a passport.

And your ID will be fine.

If you have any doubts though, call your airline.
you might have a little problem but yes you will need a passport to come to the U.S. any country that you go to youll need a passport.
US Citizens do not need a passport to travel within the country. If you are concerned about your name, contact the airline ahead of time and ask them - there's no sense in waiting until you're at the airport to find out.
