Do passport agencies at federal buildings take walk-ins? |
Travel Info I submitted my passport app back on April 30. The NCIP says my app is still in process although on expedited status as of July 3. Today is the 9th and I leave on the 12th. Can I simply go to my federal building and be seen without an appointment? Additionally, I have all the documents they require except my birth certificate, which was submitted with my original app. Can I still get an expedited passport in person without an appointment and no birth certificate? Travel Tips One of the ladies I work with went through this recently. She ended up calling her state representative for assistance. She got her passport 1 day before she was sheduled to depart. I don't have any recommnendations other than possibly that.
