Replacement Passport?

I go on holiday on Friday and I appear to have lost my passport. Anyone know how much a replacement passport will cost me? I know I will probably have to drive down to Newport to get it.

Phone 0870 521 0410 to report your passport as lost, you may also be able to book an appointment to arange for a fast track passport application. There is a same day service which is not available to replace lost/stolen passports, but in your circumstances they may make an exception

The fees are 拢91 for a guaranteed one week service (by appointment) or 拢108 for a same day application (by appointment if you manage to get it that way)

I needed a replacement and the passport was about 拢75 and about 拢7 for two week turnaround. Pop down the Post office today as I think they can do a really fast service at a bit more of a fee and you might avoid a drive.
yes i had the same 拢 68 i think personally its a rip off as i still had 9 years left on it and after declaring it lost i found it but they put a block on it!
you need to phone the passport now. never mind the cost, they might not be able to replace it in such a short amount of time, especially given that they now sometimes conduct interviews.
so ring them asap, to find out if you can get one in person. I think it is about 拢19 - 拢26.
you probably won't get it that quick. it'll cost you a lot more to rush it.

If you need to travel in less than two weeks you should make an urgent application for a new passport. Your first step should be to call our 24-hour Passport Adviceline 0870 521 0410 (see terms and conditions) and make an appointment at one of our offices.
Just put in -passport renewal - in google, and you will be guided to the releveant gov.uk department, I know a renewal is around 拢100, not sure about replacement, must be about the same.
