Best Places to visit in Goa? |
Travel Info I would like to visit goa for 2 days, can you please suggest the places i should visit also i'd like to see the nightlife. Travel Tips Spent a few days in Goa less than a year ago and loved it! If you feel confident enough on 2 wheels, my most important advice to you would be to rent a scooter! Makes everything real convenient to get to without the hassle of waiting for the public buses. All the beaches are fantastic really although if you really are strapped for time I'd suggest you stick to Baga beach and the adjacent Calangute beach. These are the most popular and might be a little crowded but the sand is perfect and the beach is nice and flat. Facilities like bathing areas and quaint little cafes are also a lot easier to come by here. If you're more interested in the night life, I'd suggest you pay a visit to either Tito's or Club Kabana. Tito's the older and more established joint and located at Baga. The crowd here's pretty cool and the atmosphere is laid back. Club Kabana's a rather newer and more glamorous place overflowing with beautiful people both local and foreign, quite the place to see and be seen. The place itself plays a mix of house and R&B depending on who's spinning but if you're not into dancing there are plenty of nice areas in the club for for lounging around. Others come down to goa...its a long coastline take to the beaches...all r good but to stay away frm crowd go to palolem or arambol or morjim....rent-a-bike is real useful. u hv a liensed dealer in panaji. churches r gr8...so r some temples in the interior of goa away frm beaches. nightlife rocks at TITO / Paradiso / Cabana / Ozone... Old Goa is a must good advice from others but 2 days is too less dude The best places to visit in Goa are the beaches (Anjuna,Baga & Vagator), Church (St. Francis Xavier), Dona Paula (for sunset), Fort Aguada and Chapora (Dil Chata Fame). The best place for nightlife is the saturday night bazar (Macknie and Ingo) and the pubs/discos that line the calangute/baga beach belt (Zanzibar, Tito, etc). http://www.guidetogoa.com/ |
