Others On an average, a bus ride from Mumbai to Goa takes around 16 hours while the train takes less time. The railway is a better option. It takes 11- 12 hrs, and its a night journey so it's easy. go by Konkan railway. good sights along the way. There is also a ferry. u have to search the details. If the choice is between the bus and the konkan railway, choose the train. For comfort, beautiful scenery, space. However, with air travel becoming so cheap, you can search for good deals by air to Goa specially during the off season. choose the train or better yet take a plane - since the train leaves at night not much to see until the morning. If you take the rain pack lots of food cuz the stuff they sell onboard is crappy and probably not safe to eat. |
