In Goa food is reasonable and alcohol is cheap as hell. There are hundreds of hotels in goa, The rent will depend on the location and the season time. If you go during season time , the good rent hotels are even more expensive at almost double the normal rates while the reasonable rent hotels are completely booked in advance. The city premier hotels and the beach resorts are also expensive. You can opt for lodges or houses which are available on rent to get a better bargain. Travelling in goa is not convenient. It would be better to rent out a car, bike or sumo , depending on the number of people you are in all.
