Travel Tips I LIVE IN GOA IN CAVELOSSIM ITS THE SOUTH OF GOA,THE LEELA PALACE GOA IS THE DREAM HEAVEN TO STAY IN.ALL THE RICH AND FAMOUS PEOPLE COME THERE TO STAY IT'S WHERE SIR PAUL McCARTNEY COME'S TO LIVE IN GOA, THE FOOD IS GREAT IN GOA.THE BEACH AND BEACH PARTIES ARE SIMPLY GREAT SOME THING TO LOOK FORWARD TOO EVERY NITE.AND THE SHOPPING IS WHAT THE LADIES LOVE TO DO.DON'T FORGET TO ASK FOR HALF THE PRICE WHEN YOU TOLD A PRICE,AND THEN GET IT TO 3/4TH THE PRICE LOWER THEN WHATS TOLD. GOOD LUCK THE PLACE'S TO SEE ARE LIKE AGONDA BEACH-TRY THE DUNHILL BAR THERE ITS GOT GREAT FOOD THERE-0091-832-2647328. OR TRY THE PALM GROVE IN CAVELOSSIM GOA-0091-832-2871424.ASK FOR LAURENCE AND HE WILL SORT YOUR ROOM OUT FOR BEFORE YOU COME OVER THERE,THE FOOD IN HIS RESTAURENT IS REALY VERY GOOD. COME OVER TO GOA AND YOU WOULD LOVE IT.MY HUBBY IS FROM ENGLAND SOME MUCH SO HE HAS MARRIED ME DON'T KNOW WHY IS IT GOA OR IS IT ME I KEEP ASKING MYSELF IT COULD'NT HAVE BEEN ME ITS GOT TO BE GOA. Others stayed @ the Hilton Towers it was great i have! loved it! Went to Hotel Majorda- loved everything about it. Very clean- very exotic, had their own cut off beach part. It was brialliant. I went around December last year- loved it, loved it, loved it. I went all around goa- you can get a tour guide for a few days if you're taking your time to see and plan it accordilgy- great thing is- everything's dirt cheap. Being a tourist- you'll be more inclined to get ripped off- but haggle if you get stopped by the locals.... Overall- you'll love it- especially anywhere you go in the nights/evenings- i forget alot of the places names but alot of the somewhat trendier locals will let you in on a lot of places that are good. Go! Have a wicked holiday! i styes 2 days in north goa at the marriot and 2 days in south goa at the renasaince yes i like goa ,i went to the flea market in the north and in south i stayed on the beach i went to goa and i stayed in a hotel in calangute for a while, everything was more than i could ask for.i then went down to palolem beach which was heaven on earth.i also stayed in the jungle for a while and visited waterfalls and had the whole jungle experience!the only thing i didn't enjoy so much was anjuna market because it was too busy for me but still an amazing experience. Hi Pete, I went to Goa in 2000, stayed in Pandolim in 3* hotel. Hated it, ended up with a severe chest infection and Pueumonia, as it was very dusty and very crowded. Wouldn't go back, but we are all different and you may love it. Not a very big country, not a lot to see and do if you don't like beach holidays. Hated everyone trying to sell me something all of the time. Care needed with eating and drinking outside Hotel as hygiene standards are poor. Ensure you have all your jabs esp Hepatitis before you go. Sorry to say I can't think of anything I liked. However loved India. I went to Goa about 10 years ago, and stayed in the Calangute region. It was great for us as it was cheap, and easy to explore Southern India. There are vaccinations that you will need, and also a tourist visa which costs over 拢30 but is worth it. |
