Can any one give me details of visit to goa? |
Travel Info Can any one give me fully details of visit to a goa? I want to visit goa for my honeymoon by train? what is the train fare of vadodara to goa? what is the rate of hotel rooms? Travel Tips If you haven't been to Goa, it鈥檚 a fantastic place to visit. I was in the same frame of mind a couple of years ago and hence always holidayed in the summer, until my friends told me that it was all in my head. Hahaha..... Well I took a chance last year and came down to Goa during the monsoons. To tell ya a fact I enjoyed it more than ever. You don't have too many tourists around at the time so its more peaceful and pleasant. It doesn't rain continuously so you could spend some time on the beaches as well and yeah you have so many options to choose from. There are so many places to visit like the Churches, Forts, Dudhsagar Waterfall, Spice Village and endless events happening at the Kala Academy for Art & Culture run by the Government of Goa which will keep you entertained during your stay. I'm sure your visit would be one of a kind. You also have quiet luxurious hotels, affordable guesthouses & inns and the best part is you can negotiate on the price. From my personal experience I avoid putting up at the hotels as the guest houses give a homely feel to the stay rather than making one feel outta place. I tried getting details of the train fares from Vadodara to Goa but the costing is not available for the monsoons yet. Well the current fares are as below and would be around the same price or cheaper because of the off season. FARES as follows: Train No. - 2654 Train Name - KERLA S KRANTI Class - Sleeper Fare - Rs.381/per head OR Train No. - 6333 Train Name - VRL TVC EXPRESS Class - Sleeper Fare - Rs.361 /per head If you plan to take a trip to Goa and would like to put up at a Guest House (Non A/c) then The Paul's Guest House is just where you should be. The rates start of @ Rs.500 a Night depending on the no. of people to be accommodated. It's run by a family and the atmosphere is fantastic. Details are: The Pauls Guest House Siolim, Goa Telephone: 0832 2272552 Mobile: 09822338216 Email: dusty_angel@email.com Visit: http://goa.click.in/classified/housing/h... Hope I was of help to you!
