I need to find my friend in Goa?

I want to make a surprise visit to a friend who is working in Goa. He has a shop there. I don't know where the shop is located. I assume that it is somewhere in the popular tourist areas. So how large is the area... Is it possible to find him in about 2 days? Is it possible to walk through the tourist areas (mainly beaches, I suppose?) and find him? Are there major tourist places outside the beaches? How are my chances?

(1)if ur frnd is reputed one u can find him easily.(2) but its a very large area & its not possible to find him in 2days only.(3)yes, offcourse u & every other tourist be it indian or foreign everybody walks in the beaches & in the local mkts.(4) there r many forts, islands, many old churches & other religious places must to visit. (5)ur chances to meet ur frnd is 50:50. best wishes for a goan pleasure.

it would be worth asking the taxi & took took drivers..and the waiters in the beach shacks...they seem to know most things and most people...they are usually really helpful.
GOA is not so small to find a shop in two days...
now if you have any idea on what shop it is, or which part of goa is it in? that might help
Goa is a state and not just a city. The coast line is almost 50 miles so I don't think you can walk thru them.
Unless you have more details...your chance are dependent on lady luck!
Why dont u tell him u saw Goa on the Tv Candolim ,calungute and baga and ask if thats near him to get the little help u need to locate where abouts he is then u can isolate a certain area ...taxi drivers are up on there knowledge and seem to know everyone and new shops !!!
