definitly get your hep A and B shot. Malaria is a good thing to have. Yellow Fever? Possibly. Ask your health department. If you get that shot, plan to take the rest of the day off - it can make you feel really sick.

No, no special vaccinations are needed for Panama.
I'm driving down to Panama myself next month and just visited my Dr. He advises that everybody get immunisation against Hep A&B and very importantly get anti-Malaria pills. Neither can hurt, but can save you a lot of problems. Keep in mind that both Hep vacinations take at least 3 weeks to be affectiv.
You don't need it but your better off safe than sorry. Good luck!
