Is there a Train from Mexico to Panama by chance&if so where? |

You can take a buses from Mexico to all other countries in Central America (appr0x.US$150) and then from Costa Rica to Panama (US$50). Tica Bus and Panaline are two good options for this last leg San Jose-Panama City, if you don't want to depend on local partial routes. About safety, you need to be careful in three areas: very Southern Mexico, rural El Salvador and Managua; but never let your guard down. Other Travel Tips nope but u can drive www.twl.dl.am I would suggest you try one of 2 things: 1. Take a bus. I know for a fact there are buses from Mexico to Costa Rica, and they go through Panama. The trip takes about 3 days and is $150. The hassel is finding out if you need visas for each country. 2. Find out about some sort of boat that goes through the canal. That would be awesome. I live in Costa Rica and have friends that a few months ago moved to Chiapas, Mexico by bus... not by train. try a bus to a country in central america that is not mexico. then go by tica bus al the way to panama. tica bus travels to panama, i have seen them. hope it helps. |
