Travel Info Has anyone been to Panama? What is there to do? Travel Tips Well I live in Panama. There are a lot of things to do. First please realize that Panama is one of the most cosmopolitan cities of Latin America, so expect something like Miami (overpasses, turnpikes, traffic, etc.) Night life in Panama is 24/7. There's always something open where you can have fun (depending on what you're looking for). You have casinos, night clubs, bars, usual US franchises like TGI Fridays, Bennigan's, etc. If it's more on the eco-tourist side there's a lot to see. Panama has the most amount of bird species in the American Continent, virgin rainforests, etc. There is a site www.visitpanama.com. There you can get a lot of info about Panama. Also try doing a search for travel agents in Panama to see what tours are available. The one I know is http://www.vacationscostarica.com/panama... They have info about tours in Panama, etc. Others I have been, I used to live there: and believe me there are plenty thing to do. It depends what you like, they are several sea sports (diving, snorkel, ski, swimming etc) you can go to the mountain, tropical rain forest, disco, the canal,walking the causeway or bike,hiking , goint to the countryside bowls.. Named it...the only thing you wouldn't find is snow!!! |
