Travel Info What are some of the things you did while there? Did you like the country? Why or why not? Travel Tips Yes, the canal is well worth and afternoon's visit as it the old part of Panama City (Casco Viejo). Panama is extremely hot and it has some of the most shameless (dishonest?) taxi cab drivers on the world. On the other hand outside of Colon, the crime rate seems to be quite low. If you like water and to chill, the Bocas del Toro Archipelago is a must. My favorite place is Boquete with its coffee plantations and cloud forest-- probably because it is beautiful and not outrageously hot. Others i have been there i have been to the canal, i ate, and I went to see the rainforests really interesting I have never been to the Country of Panama, because I dont need to.
