Are there any RAINFOREST in panama?

I am going to Panama and I need some point of interests to see. I really would LOVE to go to a rain forest and walk on those wooden bridges atop the trees. or go on a rope swing in a hotspring or see waterfalls... SOMETHING... lol any ideas?

Oh, yes! Plenty of rainforest, to do those activities (yes, they exsist!) go to Chiriqui, walk across bridges over rivers and cross from tree to tree on those run across rope things. Darien is the best province to explore for rain forest landscapes, but Cocle is nice too for tropical animals and zoos. Hotsprings would be around Cocle at the local springs heatened by an extinct volcano. And mud to ease up acne and arthritis. Have fun in Panama. I know that Panama does have rainforests. I lived there for 3 years, but don't recall experiencing anything of what you are talking about. This could very well be because I was 11 yrs. old and probably is not something a family with 4 kids would go and do.

Definitely go see the Gatun Locks. I remember going on a beach vacation where we were able to ride horses on the beach. Don't remember the name of it though. You will also want to make sure you go to Panama City and experience the shopping. Be prepared to barter!

There is plenty of rain forest in Darien. There is a BEAUTIFUL waterfall in El Valle also. I'm not really the outdoorsy type so you might want to check on the internet for a better variety of nature places. I do highly recommend that you go to El Valle, there are trees with square trunks there and it doesn't get as humid as the city.
