Why are there so many retirees in Panama now?

It's starting to look like some parts of Florida.

I worked for a moving/freight fowarding company and I had like 5 clients moving there. I asked and they said that for not that much cash you can live like a king/queen.

The US dollar is worth a hell of a lot more there than here.

Plus it's gorgeous and the people there are nice to Americans as long as you spend your loot with them.

the weather is GREAT...the cost of living is okay, and the stores are pretty much the same we have here.
born/raised there..my parents are still there.
