Travel Info Does panama the country have a gps system as we do for automobiles in the united states. if so how can i go about finding out where to obtain or rent it?? Travel Tips Unfortunately we don't have the GPS database for automobiles yet in Panama City, or in any other city in the Republic of Panama. Rumor has it in the makings for some time now, but I guess no one outside of the geographical institute can say for sure if it's being done or not. Others ok, just some information for you. best bet, get a gps, and check with google earth. just a idea.. hope it helps. I am not aware on any gps system operating in Panama.
