Travel Info What is the temperature in Panama City, Panama during January and February? Travel Tips January and February are the beginning of the summer season for Panama. Panama only has two seasons, winter and summer. The winter months are rainy with heavy frequent down pours, but it make everything a lovely shade of green in the interior. The winter months are April through December. The summer months are dry and windy and the grass will a crunchy and tan before the rains start again. Summer starts at the end of December and lasts until sometime in April. Since Jan-Feb are the beginning of the dry season the grass and trees will still be green, but the rains will have stopped and there will be a lovely breeze blowing most of the time. The temperature should be around mid 80麓s but with the breeze it will be pleasant. In the evening when the sun goes down around 6pm and the wind continues to blow; to some of us who have acclimated to the climate here, it will be a bit chilly and you might see us in longer sleeves or with a light jacket. It麓s a good time to visit Panama but make your reservation pretty quick, Carnival is in Feb and rooms are hard to get during this time.
