What are two common ways guests can compliment the cook in Panama? |
Travel Info I cant find this answer anywhere!!!...Much help needed!.. Travel Tips Say, "Gracias, muj rico!" ("Thanks, very delicious!") "Me gusto la comida que me hizo" ("I like the food you made me") Idon't know where you're at in Panama but you can always tip.I would do it on my way out, it would be better. You could get a gift: coffee, beer, liquor, lotion, etc. Others Guests compliment the cook verbally and by finishing their food. Hope that this helps! I live in Panama City, Panama and we socialize a lot. Bring a gift is a very good idea. Ask first to bring something to the dinner like a bottle of wine or dessert. At the end of the meal never say you are finished, it's rude. Say 'completo' or you are complete.
