Travel Info Decameron: how is it there,how are the prices ? Travel Tips I have lived here for 14 mos. and I love it !! The people are great! They are friendly and when they greet you it is with a smile and you know they are sincere. If you stop at someones house to look at plants they will invite you inside to meet the whole family, offer you cuttings of anything you want, break out the refreshments and make you feel at home. I live in Boquete and are you ready for this? There is no violent crime!!!! You can go for a walk anytime you want and feel safe! Try that in the U.S. The prices are low. Others Right now prices are running about $130 per person if there are two to a room, about $175 for a single person in a room. From just after Christmas until around the end of April we are in peak tourist season as well as the summer season (so very little rain) and it's reflected in the price. Before Thanksgiving we were being quoted prices of around $89 per person for two in a room. The service is great, the food is great, the grounds and amenities are also great. Basically it's about a 4 1/2 star resort. I hear of very few complaints from anyone visiting this resort. If their budget allows them even the locals like to go here for special occasions.
