Is Panama City hot and humid?

Travel Info
I may be visiting, and possibly living there. Is it hot and humid? I don't know the elevation of the city. Gracias.

Travel Tips
Both, until the beginning of April is the best weather, sunny to go to beaches. From April to December, some days are rainy, but good weather.

My recommendation is to try it and you will see that you will want to stay.

For me is the best Latinoamerican Country for many reasons:
Government: Democratic
Currency: USD $
Shopping: Very Cheap, Albrook Mall.
Rent: $350 monthly for rent in a good place.
Very secure in most of the places, i mean in the city.

Enjoy it.

I don't know if the humidity is that objectionable when you consider how reasonable the cost of living there is.
My relatives plan to retire there
No, it's dry and snowy, you crazy eagle, you. Did you forget how to spell g-o-o-g-l-e?
It's hot and humid everywhere along the Gulf Coast; I've lived here all my life. Even in our mild winters, it's still humid. Elevation, not much, it's on the coast. And the first poster's answer about cost of living is right as far as groceries, medical care, etc. (compared to most of the country), but be advised that homeowner's insurance has quadrupled all over Florida this past year.
If you are talking about Panama City in Central America,m the answer is yes and yes. Temp is approx. 30 Celsius degress all year and humidity is 90% almost all year. We get a break during Jan, Feb, and March when it gets breezy.
Yes, Panama City is hot and humid. This high temps can go up to the low 90s but most of the time are in the high 80s.

The humidity is just like Miami or the Florida Keys.

Where Panama City is excellent is the nights. The nights here are quite cool. They are much cooler than Miami and there always seems to be a breeze in the evening. The nights are quite romantic.

If you live in a high rise, you will not need air conditioning as there is always a breeze aloft, day or night. At 4 a.m. you will need a light blanket. I am a native of Florida and used to the heat and humidity. I don't mind it. If you are from the west, the humidity will get to you.

Best way to live here is to ignore it. Don't call attention to it. Don't think about it and treat it as the environment that you can do nothing about.
