There are many dances, with different names. Some are:
El Tamborito, El Punto, El Atravesao, La cumbia, La denesa...
Those are some of the dances from the Spanish descendants. They are danced wearing a pollera and a montuno. Of course, there are many kinds of polleras, too: de trabajo, blancas, de lujo, ocue帽as, etc.
There are also dances from the African descendants, called congos. The dance is called congo, too.
