Travel Tips The Beachcomber and the Legacy are pretty nice places that overlook the pier, they are both on the west end, so it is definitely less crowded than down by the Thomas Drive area. I also agree that the Sandpiper Beacon is a nice place to stay, especially if you have kids. The sandpiper is further west but you could still see the firewoprks on the pier from there. My sister works in the reservation department for the Legacy and the Beachcomber. Hurry and get reservations they are filling up fast! Have Fun! There is also the Gamboa Rainforest Resort, not on the city, but on the Soberan铆a National Park, 30 minutes from the city. It has a pier over the river. www.gamboaresort.com |
