Where do i get a train to lyon if i arrive at the charles de gaulle in paris? |
Travel Info im going to lyon on december but my airplane ticket is to paris, so i need to get a train to lyon but i dont know where to get it if i arrive at the charles de gaulle airport, and i dont know a bit of french... Travel Tips First of all, you will need to reserve tickets on the train, so go to http://www.tgv.com/ and reserve. When you arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport, go through everything you need to go through (customs, baggage claim etc.) follow the signs for CHARLES DE GAULLE TGV. When you get there, you will have to punch (composter in French) your ticket. This can be done at a little yellow machine. Board your train (the platform will be on the screens) . Journey time is 2 hours. Your train will stop once between Charles de Gaulle and Lyon at Eurodisney world. From there a fast train (TGV) will lead you to Lyon Perrache or Lyon Part-Dieu (two stations in Lyon). In case you arrive at terminal 1 or 9 at CDG Airport, you have to get into the free airport bus shuttle which will take you to the terminal 2.
