What you see is up to you, but you should not miss the cathedral of Notre Dame, the basilica of Sacr茅 Coeur in Montmatre, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Visit the Louvre on Sunday, when it's free. Otherwise, use your travel card to travel on the buses and look at everything around you, feasting your eyes. As Hemingway said, "Paris is a movable feast".

Le Marais is a nice area to visit.
Queues to the Eiffel Tower are always very long.
The Louvre is well worth it.
Montmartre is lovely.
Have some crepes.
Speaking a few words will always be very much appreciated.
The tube stinks and isn't very nice, apart from lines 14 and 1.
Have some butter croissants in a boulangerie, then you'll know how proper croissants are supposed to taste.
I always go to cafe L'Imprevu, rue Quincampoix (close to Les Halles and Centre Georges Pompidou), every time I go to Paris.

Driving about yourself is suicide. Also, you'll need to know French obviously.
DONT drive into the city, its crazy!. We almost did but then we didnt and took a bus in instead, and we're so glad we did in the end! Every car has a dent in it somewhere, and they drive like maniacs! We tried to cross the zebra crossing, even a police car wouldn't stop to let us across!
Yes, make plans not to return home, for you will surely want to stay there for the rest of your life!
it can be a lovely city. I think it's good to go with a significant other or a group.
