Travel Info I'm going to PAris in March. Can anyone tell me what is appropriate to wear in the day and to clubs at night? Travel Tips I am no fashion expert so I would probably screw things up if I tried to describe things in words. Check out these videos on the Paris Zoom TV website to see what people are actually wearing: http://www.paris-zoom.com/place.asp?p=ge... That's the George's Cafe in the 5th arr. (the Latin quarter) and, as you can see, a place for the younger crowd. you'll notice a lot of what my wife calls "little black dresses." http://www.paris-zoom.com/place.asp?p=ca... This is a daytime scene from the Caf茅 le Moderne in the trendy area close to the new Opera Bastille. Hope that is useful. Others I made the mistake of wearing light colors (because it was spring!). The darker, the better, perferably black. If you're walking, and its easy and fun to do in Paris, low heels with cushioning. I wore flats with no spring and my feet were sore by the end of the day. They know you're American if you wear tennies, though, so try to stay away from those! Not clothing related--but take the Metro everywhere. Its really great once you have it figured out. clothes?! |
