In France they seem to want you to feel guilty if you're not stick-thin!! Others A woman's UK size 12 is a French size 40. it's a size 40 in france :) Size 40 is the conversion equivalent, but do try on, as their sizes do tend to come up "smaller" A tight 40 or a roomy 42.
