Travel Info What are some NATURAL, not human-made attractions in Paris, France besides the Seine river? Travel Tips Around and in Paris not so many, but in France you can go in the Alps, in the south east corner, in the gorges du Verdon, this is very dramatic. In the West of France in Brittany go to la cote de granite rose or Quiberon. Closer to Paris, you can go to la Vallee de la Chartreuse and Fontainebleau there is a beautiful forest. For natural wonders, I would choose to go to the country side not Paris. France is like an amphitheater, on the East you have mountains and the westerner you go, the landscape gets flatter until you reach sea level. Others There aren't any. If you want to look at natural scenery then go somewhere other than Paris, a living monument to the genius of man. Even the big woodlands, the Bois de Vincennes and the Bois de Boulogne have been largely crafted by gardeners and landscape designers. |
