Travel Info Can you name some french tourist attractions ? Travel Tips Everyone seems to be naming Parisian attractions. I really liked Paris, but I also enjoyed traveling in southern France a lot. Nice was a lot of fun and a great place to party all night and lie on the beach all day. Also, the tiny towns around the Verdon river were amazing. Chasteuille (sp?) was probably my favorite. It's a tiny town that used to be an artist colony and is made up of tiny stone houses surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Also, it's a hiker's paradise. There are a million places to explore and beautiful sites to see! Others The Eiffel Tower? Arch de Triumph Arc du Triumph, Eiffel Tower, French Riviera, valley of Champaigne... "DisneyLand" near Paris. http://www.disneylandparis.com 1) Paris with all its attractions 2) The Mediterranean Coast: Nice, Cannes, Monaco 3) The Valley of the Loire with dozens of beautiful castles 4) In Britanny: the monastery of Saint Michel 5) In the Rhone Delta : the national park of The Camargue 6) In the south: le canyon du Verdon (not as big as the Grand Canyon, but quite impressive and lastly : the southern province of La Provence with the towns of Arles, Nimes and Avignon and lots of Romans archeological sites and aqueducts. I restrict my answer to Paris since you have asked your question in the Paris section. Tourist "must sees" are the "sights" like the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Sacre Coeur, Invalides, and the Pantheon and the museums, namely, the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Cluny, Centre Pompidu, Orangerie, and Rodin Museum. |
