I only have 2 days in paris, what tourist attractions should i visit?? |
Travel Info for your information: i'm going to visit disneyland paris in 1 whole day Travel Tips Paris is a fairly compact city with excellant public transportation. You should be able to see most of the major must see sights in two days. Of course museums like the Louvre can't really be covered in a quick trip but you can save them for your next time there. On day one see, in this order, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, the Louvre (just the building as architecture not the art inside), the Arc du Carosel, the Tuilleries Gardens, the Place de la Concorde, the Grand and Petit Palais, the Pont Alexander III, the book sellers along the Seine, the Place St. Michel, the Pantheon, the Luxembourg Gardens. On Day Two, Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, the Place Pigalle, the Moulin Rogue (just to see the outside), then metro to the Place Franklin Roosevelt, walk up the Champs Elysee to the Arc de Triomphe then to the Palais de Chaillot in the Place Trocadero across the river from the Eiffel Tower. Cross to the Tower, then to the Ecole Militaire, Invalides (where Napoleon is buried) and then the Musee D'Orsay. Others I would definitely visit the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, and the catacombs under the city. First off. go get yourself 2 french hookers, thatd be one great attraction secondly get a date and dine at the eiffle tower Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Notre Dame, Napolean's Tomb, Moulin Rouge, Champ Elyssae, Arc De Triomphe, (excuse spelling - can't remember) Have been there I spent a week there and wish i had more time. the most memorable thing was the catacombs. they are in some of the guidebooks. you dont hear a lot about them but it was cool history and kinda creepy/fun/adventures. they are deep under the city. tons of human skeletons. sorta like indiana jones but not. Also Notre Dame was cool but such a tourist trap. Eiffel is a must but everybody knows that. Mulan rouge too! so much to see, but definatly check out the catacombs! the catacombs do not welcome flash photography so you have to have a tripod for any good pics. good luck and have fun! trev- |
