Affordable transportation from Gare Du Nord train station to hotel?

What is the affordable means of transportation from the Gare Du Nord to the hotel? Is there a shuttle bus (such as hotel link) servicing the train station and hotels? 2 people arriving from London with luggages tentatively staying at Arc Triomphe district.

A taxi will not be very expensive although the Metro would be cheaper.

metro is the best if you carry too much luggage you can try a cab the fare will depend on your arriving time , the drive will take 20 minutes off pick hours (but it can take 1 hour ) so if you're arriving on a week day after 9 AM take a cab you'll see the city and you won't have to carry your luggage.
