Other Travel Tips I am not sure what you want to know. The SNCF Gare de Carcassonne is in the Northwest quadrant of the city. There is a bus that runs from the train station to the old city. (This bus doesn't run on sunday). There is a taxi spot marked just outside the entrance to the train station. If you are willing to wait, a taxi will eventually show up.
