Does anybody know anything about the French department store Galleries Lafayette?!?!? |
Travel Info I have to do a project on it for French and I have no information because when I go to the site its all in french and I dont know how to change it to English! Travel Tips Galleries Lafayette is the most famous and the most spectacular of Parisian department stores. The only store where you will find big brands (often exclusively) like Armani, Chanel, John Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Lacroix, Prada, Sonia Rykiel, Thierry Mugler, on fully-refurbished floors entirely given over to women鈥檚 fashion. It has the biggest space in Europe entirely devoted to menswear, as well as the renowned Lafayette Gourmet, a gastronomic reference in Paris with 2 new restaurants: le Bar Rouge and le Ch锚ne Vert. There are free fashion shows on Wednesday at 3pm from Easter to October. Their website does have an English version: http://www.galerieslafayette.com/interna... Others I think they have stores both inside and outside France. They're very expensive, but they do have fine merchandise. If you are doing a project for French class, try to read the website in French. The whole idea is to try to learn some French. |
