Do any one know any nice locations just outside Paris (Europe) with regular trains into paris central?

Travel Info
I have been to Paris before but am not willing to pay the expensive hotel bills to just stay in bed, because we a going for a one day wedding. Although my woman is insiting that we spend 5 days, i am thinking of getting a less expensive hotel just outside paris and just come in to paris on the day of the wedding. Any ideas out there?

Travel Tips
Stay at my favorite place, the Hotel St. Andre des Artes at 66 rue St. Andre des Artes in the 6th arrondissement. A double costs 86 euros a night with breakfast included.

Its utterly charming, in the center of everything, very friendly and very Parisian.

Mind you, what it is not is the Holiday Inn. Although the plumbing facilities are modern and en suite, there are no other concessions to bourgeois modernity. No minibars, no cable TV, no magnetic key card locks. Those who wish to pretend they are in Omaha will find it difficult.

If that seems a bit primitive then try the three star Hotel Left Bank St. Germain at 9, rue de l'Ancienne Com茅die in the 6th arr. Its both luxurious and very French.

While the rack rates for a double are 250 euros, if you book thru their website at http://www.hotel-left-bank-paris.federal... the price will actually be discounted by up to 40%.. A double tonite, for example, would cost you 157 euros.

If you are going with a lady then the romance generated by this place will be worth every penney.

Paris is expensive this is for sure but the suburbs are also. What I would suggest is either try to find some kind of "formule 1" hotel in a quiet suburbs such as the ones in the south of Paris (Cachan, Bourg la Reine, Orsay ville). To me, it surely doesn't have as much charm as staying in Paris "intra muros" and these type of hotel leave very few space for romance, but it then comes to about 30euros for double bed room and with the RER you can get easily to Paris (altough this will also costs some money!).
One other solution is to book a hotel in a cheaper district. One of my very favorite district is the 10th near the "Canal Saint Martin". You can find some hotel there for about 40 euros by night (but this is a minimum). I would not guarantee their cleanliness but this district is a lot less touristic and to me as this very special cosmopolitan Parisian flavor. Especially look after the "rue du Faubourg Saint Martin".
I hope this will be help full, if you need some help do not hesitate to contact.
Lived in Paris for three years
I've stayed at the Hotel Aurore. It was a fabulous location being in a quieter area of Paris but within walking distance to the Gare de Lyon so you can go from there to anywhere!

Why not rent a furnished apartment in Paris ? You can have about 40m in the center of Paris for the same price as a Little room in an hotel. You can buy and cook in the kitchen and you can be comfortable like your home. It's like b&b but more confortable.
